Danielle Bregoli, famously known by her stage name BhadBhabie, has checked into rehab, according to TMZ.
Bhad Bhabie’s team confirmed the news in a statement posted to her Instagram page on Wednesday.
“Danielle has been working hard for the past few years and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to attend to some personal issues,” the statement read.
“For past weeks, she has been in a treatment center receiving and continuing to receive professional support. She loves her fans, and has promised to return better, and healthier than ever. Please respect her and her family’s privacy at this time.”
TMZ reported that Bhad Bhabie, 17, is seeking treatment for childhood trauma and addiction to prescription pills.
Bhad Bhabie became a viral sensation after she appeared on the Dr. Phil show in 2016. While on the daytime talk show, she invited the audience to a fight saying “cash me outside, how bout dah.”
Since she has amassed millions of social media followers, a rap career, and a reported million-dollar net worth.
