Forget materialistic things, Offset wants his family together again for his birthday.
Offset, who turned 27 on Friday, made a public apology to his estranged wife, Cardi B, asking that they work on their marriage.
“I only got one birthday wish, and that’s to get my wife back, Cardi, you know what I’m saying,” Offset said.
The Migos rapper continued, “We’re going through a lot of things right now, in the media. I. want to apologize to you, Cardi. I embarrassed you, I made you look crazy.”
The couple’s relationship has been sullied by cheating allegations.
“I was partaking in activities I shouldn’t have been taking in,” Offset added. “I apologize for breaking your heart, breaking our promise, breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed-up husband.”
Offset went on to profess his love to Cardi and said that he’d hope to spend Christmas with her and their daughter Kulture.
He added that he wants to spend “the rest of [his] life” with her, before admitting that he was “entertaining” the possibility of cheating on her.
“I didn’t f**k that girl, but I entertained it,” Offset confessed, referring to his alleged mistress, Summer Bunni.
TMZ obtained an alleged text exchange between Offset and another woman where he inquired about a threesome.
Summer Bunni tearfully apologized to Cardi, stating she didn’t know how serious her marriage to Offset was, in a video submitted to TMZ.
“I apologize and I love you. I hope you can forgive me. My birthday wish is just to have you back,” Offset concluded.
Offset and Cardi B married in a secret ceremony in September of last year. They welcomed their first child together in July.
The “Money Bags” rapper announced their split on Instagram on Dec. 4.
“We are really good friends and we are really good business partners — you know, he’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time,” Cardi admitted.
She added, “And it’s nobody fault. I guess we grew out of love but we are not together anymore … It might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Since news broke that the couple had split, Offset has taken to social media to declare his love for the 26-year-old Bronx rapper.
“F*** YALL I MISS CARDI,” he tweeted last week Tuesday.
Cardi has yet to respond to either declarations.
