Tamar Braxton has a new babe in her life, but throwing shade at her ex-husband Vince Herbert is not allowed.
Braxton gave fans a glimpse of her new Nigerian boyfriend, who sports a lean and muscular figure. She captioned the video, which she posted to her Instagram, “Said i wasn’t gone tell nobody but I…?”
The physical differences between the two men are obvious, which many made note of in the comment section. It was one comment that caught Braxton’s attention, which read: “When you go from fAt to FIT.. the experience is sooo different and electrifying.”
Braxton urged the IG user to show respect to her ex and the father of her son, Logan, responding, “Don’t do that boo! We just didn’t work out. Don’t shame that man like that please.”
Herbert’s weight was highlighted on their WETv’s reality series, “Tamar and Vince.” In 2012, Herbert was hospitalized for blood clots, and in 2016, he underwent weightloss surgery.
Of his drastic weight loss, Braxton told PEOPLE Now that she was “happy” that Herbert was doing better.
“I’m very happy only because he’s much healthier and I want him around forever, but, you know, I like a little meat on my man’s bones,” Braxton told the publication.
“I had to be very supportive of him, he had a couple of surgeries — not like really cosmetic surgeries, but like medical surgeries to help him to lose weight because he had medical problems due to the weight,” explained the R&B singer.
As for Braxton’s new man, the songstress gushed to Wendy Williams that she was “very much” in love with her “fine” new babe.
“I met him at a friend’s birthday party, thank you God, he’s so fine! I can’t take it sometimes. It’s like a whole snack — a Lunchable!” the singer said back in Septemeber. “He lives in L.A., he’s originally from Nigeria, but he lived here for a while.”
